The way En Shamsol has written is as though the Indians in this
country are a useless lot. We had also contributed in the fight
for freedom and shed blood, thus earned the right to be citizens
of this country and not some pariah as En Shamso refers.
Being a multi racial country, there must be tolerance and
understanding. He has totally failed to realise the reasons for
the Indians to fight for their rights because whatever rights we
had some years ago are being taken for granted in recent years
and has been eroding.
Thus as another Malaysian, I hope En Shamsol exercises tolerance
and if he can't contribute any positive remarks, stay away from
contributing negative remarks. Like how he puts it, "he will
kill an Indian before he kills a snake"...this is a well known
phrase used to describe my race but I am sure none of us care a
damn for this phase or any other phrase and we will continue to
fight for our rights.
