Antarabangsa Malaysia.
Assalamualaikum wbt.
This Project called the Awakening is part of
ProWaris' 100-year plan to revive the Malay
dominance domestically, regionally and if can,
internationally. If the Jewish community were chased
away from Baitul Muqaddis and came back 100 years
later through execution of strategic long term plan,
ProWaris' 100-year commitment for Malay and Islam
will be the same, insyaAllah.
Brothers and Sisters
Today, we are put in a very challenging position. As
you can recall, 9-11 Tragedy has become a license
for the West to drown Islamic image openly in the
eyes of the world. While 9-11 tragedy is used as a
political reason, globalisation on the other hand is
used by the West as an economic reason.
Do you know that some of our leaders today have put
the Malays at the most critical stage of its
survival due to globalisation? We are now at the
edge of the possibility of being vanished. Why I say
this is because the Malays are now so confused, and
the worst thing about it is they are now led by
leaders who use Malay Agenda to strengthen their
political position but execute projects that have
the consequences of vanishing the Malay Race from
its own land.
Why do we have to be afraid of globalisation?
Globalisation will definitely fail. It will destroy
the world like Capitalism. It will fail, drop and
break like Communism.
Enough with 9-11, Globalisation and our Malay
Leaders. It is going to be a never ending story.
ProWaris has made its own analysis on the reasons
why the Malays are what the Malays are today.
Brothers and Sisters,
Ever since I can remember the act of self
criticising one's race have been a special privilege
that was best owed to my race, the Malays. Even our
folk stories are always entwined with tales of
stupidity, laziness and brash judgment. Children of
yesteryears are told and retold of iconic characters
like Pak Kaduk, Mat Jenin, Pak Pandir and not
forgetting Si Luncai. Yes, we laugh! And yes, we
smiled at the absurdity of the stories while
sometimes nodding agreeably as if this is what being
a Malay is all about.
We addressed ourselves as 'Orang Kita' every time we
engage in Malay bashing session. It's either "Orang
Kita Malas", "Orang Kita Dengki", "Orang Kita Mudah
Lupa" and the list goes on and on. Not forgetting
the profanity that we cursed among ourselves every
single living day of our lives. Today, I would like
to take this opportunity to shed some light on a
positive note by dwelling on the greatness and
supremacy of being a Malay.
Brother and Sisters, young and old………listening or
not (with a cheeky smile)
First and foremost I would like to congratulate all
of you present today as living proofs that Malays
are not intellectually left behind. Your presence
today has debunked an age old belief left by our
past colonialists. We are not and never were an
intellectually inferior race but maybe we were left
behind by the system. Some people might argue that
some of you are accepted solely based on a racial
biasness and not your intellectual capabilities. If
this true then, shouldn't you all be wandering
aimlessly down the hall like a mindless zombie. That
is not the vision that I encounter today.
I would also like to take this opportunity to
congratulate the Malay Race on being able to be
highly competitive. This is much more prevalent in
UIA students where they live to study and compete
among other races. Even in the great days of Malacca
the Malays have always been a highly competitive
race. We have always welcome traders from around the
world. Maybe this is the kind of spirit the Malays
today are personifying in the upcoming Free Trade
Agreement. Let us face the upcoming liberation with
the confident and bravery that our forefathers have
passed on to us.
Lastly, I would also like to take this opportunity
to congratulate the Malays on being able to be fair.
Fair in governing this multiracial country with
diplomacy and sometimes force. We lived our daily
life with charm and brute, mistakes and victories,
happiness and sadness but never once unfair.
You may have realised, we Malays are sympathetic to
our race and kinder to others. Seeing the hopeful
and gentle eyes of all of you today sends a hope in
the future that we, Malay as a race will always
remain a fair and just race. Let us not forget that
we are still a young race, like most of you present
today.
Every single breathing day of my live, I've
witnessed countless victories that we have achieved
as a proud and young race. I sincerely believed that
there is more to come. And just like me, to those
who still believe in the superiority of Bahasa
Melayu. I say to you "Mungkin hak istimewa Melayu
sudah harus ditukarkan kepada hak Melayu yang
istimewa" like my Brothers and Sisters in UIA.
Seharusnya kerajaan tidak lagi boleh menghalang
Anak-Anak Melayu Yang Istemewa untuk mendapatkan
pelbagai kemudahan pembelajaran, peluang-peluang
pekerjaan dan perniagaan!"
This IS the "Awakening!"
We are aware and are quite clear of the problems
that we are facing..We realise and understand about
our objectives and goals. And have plans on how to
achieve them.
This is the time for us to wake up and prepare our
future destiny and to strive to re-uplift our honour,
religion and race.
For, this is what our struggle is for.
Wassalam.
