Berikut adalah respon saya terhadap tulisan saudara Johan berjudul"SHARING EQUALLY THE CAKES OF DEVELOPMENTS

ITS THE RAKYAT MONEY NOT UMNO !!

Johans intricate view of our history and the development of the various races economically, socially and politically is very perplexing. He gave full credit to the BN government for the comfort of life our rakyat receive, sharing equally the cakes of developments. He also praised the BN government for all the goodies that the rakyat get for voting them in each election.

But Johan dont you think that the developments that we are experiencing now are dues that we should deserved from the government of the day via money collected by mean of various taxes that we are paying through our nose? The rakyat,you and me pay taxes daily and yearly in various form, such as from our purchase of goods that we consume daily . We pay road tax so that we can use the roads. We pay toll so that we use the highway etc. These taxes collected doesnt go into the pocket of Mahathir or Abdullah Badawi,but instead it pays for the development that the rakyat enjoys. In other words its the rakyat who are paying for the development while the BN government gets the credit!

Wake up Johan, the bonuses given to civil servants and pensioners too doesnt come from Mahathir or Abdullah Badawi or for that matter from UMNO but the money comes from the rakyat. For a pensioner, he gave 30 years or so of service to the people and he has every right for the pension he gets monthly during the few last years of his life. He doesnt owe Mahathir or Abdullah Badawi or UMNO anything. He work for the government of the day serving the rakyat not UMNO or BN!

The question of whether PAS, KeAdilan, PMR, and DAP can offer for the development and progress of Malaysians,the answer is yes. The proof is in Kelantan and Terengganu. The people of Kelantan and Terengganu did not migrate en masse when Kelantan dan Terengganu were captured by PAS from BN/UMNO. In fact they are much happier than before. There are developments everywhere in Kelantan and Terengganu. The PAS government doesnt go around boasting putting up signboard like BN/UMNO does, INI SATU LAGI PROJEK KERAJAAN BN

The opposition role is to check and balance the government policies. The opposition complain and criticize inside and outside Parliament so as the government doesnt stray away from her policies, which is a very common feature of the BN/UMNO government. For example,Mahathir declared Malaysia an Islamic state, yet Mahathir issued gambling license for the Bukit Tinggi resort without prior discussion either with his cabinet or parliament. The only word worth describing Mahathir is he is a dictator!!

How can the opposition bring development to a constituency when the development allocation in the opposition controlled areas are being channeled through the UMNO controlled JKKK,Ketua2 Bahagian and the District Office? If there are no developments than where has the development allocation money of that constituency gone? Obviously into the pockets of the UMNO JKKK and Ketua2 Bahagian. The RM 400 million PPRT allocation for the poor in Kelantan was lost through this type of modus operandi.

It is high time for Johan and those UMNOs diehard to change their attitude and be more rational rather than be obsessed with UMNO,because it only make UMNO more arrogant, over confident and snobbish.The BA/PAS government offers a better alternative to the BN/UMNO government. Kelantan and Terengganu are good examples.

Its high time for change and let us dump UMNO out the pages of history for good because dulu kini dan selamanya UMNO betrayed the people trust!
