Komen Ketua Pemuda UMNO - Mohd Isa keluar secara
terhormat
Tuan
editor, kalau kita lihat komen Dato Hishammuddin - nampak betapa
wibawanya beliau dalam memberi keterangan. Bernama melaporkan bahawa
Dato Hishammuddin meminta Isa Samad berundur secara terhormat. Apa yang
terhormatnya pengunduran Isa Samad.
bertanding mengamalkan rasuah politik. Saya setuju juga orang seperti
Ali Rustam di gantung kerana ada unsur rasuah politik dalam pemberian
darjah kebesaran.

Isa Should Make An Honourable Exit, Says Hishammuddin |

BUTTERWORTH,
Oct 14 (Bernama) -- The Umno Youth Movement urged
Federal Territories Minister Tan Sri Mohd Isa Samad to
abide by and respect Umno Supreme Council's decision to
suspend him by relinquishing his government posts
honourably.
Its head, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein said this
was evidently clear when the Supreme Council made a
decision on his appeal regarding a case of money
politics against him on Oct 7.
Speaking to reporters after presenting aid contributions
to 300 students under the movement's "Ramadan,
Compassionate Month" programme here Friday, he said
Mohd Isa need not wait for a decision from the Prime
Minister to vacate the posts, as in principle he should
leave without being asked.
Hishammuddin, who is also the Education Minister, was
commenting on a statement by Mohd Isa that the latter
would relinquish his ministerial post when he finished
some outstanding work that had to be completed.
Mohd Isa was suspended for two terms or six years on
June 24 after Umno's Disciplinary Board found him guilty
of money politics at the party's elections last year.
Mohd Isa, who won a vice-president's post in the
elections with the highest number of votes, 1,507, out
of three seats up for grabs, submitted an appeal on July
6 against the board's decision. The Supreme Council,
however, on Oct 7 reduced the suspension to three years
which also required him to relinquish his ministerial
post.
